The BarberWind Turbines management team met Mr. Grenier in September at the Caribbean Transitional Energy Conference (CTEC). “There was an immediate feeling of aligned beliefs and shared goals,” says tammy barber, owner and COO of BarberWind Turbines LLC.

“I am always enthusiastic about companies at the cutting edge of technology, especially when the environment is the main beneficiary,” says Adrien Grenier. “When I heard that BarberWind Turbines was making energy more viable and economical for remote areas of the world, I rushed to get involved. BarberWind Turbines is bringing a cleaner form of power to a whole new market, serving areas that were previously unlikely to consider wind as an option. It is really innovative and important.

“We are delighted to have Adrian on board, his confidence in our technology and the doors he can open for us at the United Nations and other places that are hungry for greener sources of energy,” said Debbie O’Hara, Marketing Director and Vice President of Sales and Marketing, BarberWind Turbines LLC.

Our product transforms wind power and changes lives. The BarberWind Turbines 800 kW wind turbine was designed for micro-grids, stand-alone applications and other distributed generation applications, especially those that currently rely on diesel fuel systems like island nations, farms and ranches. It has a built-in lifting system so can be erected without an expensive crane, can be folded down when approaching severe weather or a hurricane, and can outlast a Cat. 5 (155 mph) when lowered. The BWT800kW can be shipped in standard containers and is the world’s most economical renewable energy solution.
