The University of Sheffield, UK is calling for applications for the Bachelor of Environmental Sciences course from September 2022.
During this course, students will examine patterns and processes in the natural environment and learn how to tackle contemporary global issues such as climate change, environmental pollution, and sea level rise. .
The first year of the BSc includes modules in geography, earth sciences and biology. These modules explore the range of physical environments and ecosystems and form the basis for the rest of your course. In the second and third years you will build on what you have learned with a more specialized study of environmental science.
Practical work and field lessons are an essential part of the course. Third-year students typically complete an extensive research project in the lab or in the field.
Duration: Three years
Eligibility: 75% in Standard XII (India – CBSE, CISCE and Maharashtra State Board) including geography or other relevant scientific subject
IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component; or other acceptable qualification in English
Fees: Tuition fees for entry 2022 have yet to be confirmed. The 2021 annual tuition fee for international students is £ 21,450.
