The director of the UK Green Building Council joined us in the green zone at COP26 this morning (November 11) Munish DattaHead of Sustainability and Innovation at Holcim Magali Andersonand Jacobs’ Global Head of Sustainability and ESG Zoe Haseman.
The panel will discuss (among other things) the sector’s decarbonization efforts so far and how they need to accelerate to keep the 1.5C alive; and what a green and just recovery from Covid-19 looks like for the sector.
There is of course also discussion of the policy changes needed to enable the sector to turn ambition into action, with a reaction to recent updates here in the UK and international news from COP26 ahead of -last day. And the panel ends by laying out their hopes for the legacy of this UN climate summit.
