FALLS CHURCH, Va., December 08, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – PAE (NASDAQ: PAE, PAEWW), a global leader in providing intelligent solutions to the U.S. government and its allies, today announced it has achieved two certifications through the International Organization for Standardization, or ISO. PAE now holds ISO 45001: 2018, Occupational health and safety management systems, and ISO 14001: 2015, Environmental management systems.

PAE Interim President and CEO Charlie Peiffer said ISO certifications are the culmination of hard work by stakeholders in the organization, led by the PAE Healthcare team, environment and occupational safety as part of its Ready, Set, Protect initiative.

“For 2021, we have set ourselves a strategic objective to meet these standards and to certify the associated business operations as process improvement and to show the commitment we have to our employees and the environment,” said said Peiffer. “I am proud of the result of the ISO audit and of the certifications we have strived for. “

EAP Director of Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety + Environment and Quality Stephen Easley, and Senior Director, Occupational Health and Safety + Environment Sam Frontera, have led the efforts to obtain the certifications.

“By meeting the strict and internationally recognized standards for ISO certification, we show that PAE is the industry leader in healthy workplaces and environmental performance through the effective management systems we have in place,” said Easley.

ISO awarded the certifications to PAE after a recent and extensive audit that found PAE to meet certification standards. The report on the results of the assessment noted that “the EAP management system is well designed and provides a framework to meet the organization’s compliance obligations and continuous improvement”, commending the organization for the management engagement, employee engagement and communications.
