World Environment Day is celebrated around the world every year on June 5 to raise awareness about the environment and the importance of nature conservation. This day is the flagship day of the United Nations to promote awareness and global action in favor of the environment. The theme for World Environment Day 2021 is “ecosystem restoration”. Pakistan will host the day’s celebration this year in partnership with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
