Vancouver, British Columbia–(BUSINESS WIRE)–STEMCELL Technologies, Canada’s largest biotechnology company, today announced that it has received ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System certification for its Canadian operations in Vancouver, British Columbia.
STEMCELL’s now certified environmental management system will allow the company to monitor, measure, analyze and evaluate its environmental performance.

ISO 14001 certification, which applies to STEMCELL’s manufacturing, shipping, research and development, and corporate facilities, is voluntary and confirms STEMCELL’s shared commitment to environmental stewardship by improving processes. and procedures to reduce waste and carbon generation.
STEMCELL’s environmental management system assessment and audit was conducted independently by DEKRA, an internationally recognized authority that assesses environmental management systems for ISO 14001 certification.
