The launch featured the first edition of the unique dark mode coffee table book, “Who’s Who of The World”, which was unveiled at its virtual event. This exquisite ceremony saw the presence of pioneers from various industries who reached massive heights of success and shared their journey of passion.
A Boss Lady in her own right, the charismatic Anita Erskine finds herself in the “Africa’s Most Influential” list every year!
100 female CEOs in Africa 2022; 100 Most Outstanding Women Changemakers in Africa 2022; 100 most influential people in Ghana 2021; Trent University 2021 Alumni of the Year; 100 most influential women in Africa 2020; Those who inspire Ghana 2019; 2016 Legendary Award; and 2015 TV Host of the Year – These are just a few of the accolades Anita has been bestowed upon in recent times.
Broadcast journalist, actress and entrepreneur, Anita’s pioneering work to promote girls’ education, women’s leadership and socio-economic change on the continent, has seen her become a global authority on the Africa.
Telling us what motivates her to be the greatest cheerleader in Africa, she says, “In the past, I remember the life of an excited teenager who loved being on stage. From primary school In high school, center stage was where I really came to life. The microphone was my best friend. I can’t explain where that passion came from, but it fueled my raw ambition. Today oday, I describe myself as a media executive determined to use her voice, personality, knowledge and experience to tell the world about the beauty, power and promise of Africa.That is my true purpose.
Anita has had the privilege of working with many media around the world – in North America, Europe, Asia and of course Africa. Each experience honed his talent even more. Over the years, she has come to understand the value of embracing cultures and looking at the world from different angles.

Anita Erskine Media was born out of this understanding. “We tell stories about people, places and personalities. As a production company, we develop formats that reflect life as we see it, giving our audience a place to watch, learn and be part of life. ‘a larger conversation at any time,’ says Anita. Their main subsidiary is Bosslady Productions.
Given Anita’s exceptional hosting skills, it’s no surprise that she was chosen to become the host and advisor for the 2020 edition of the Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative – Africa Business Heroes ( the Jack Ma Foundation’s flagship philanthropic entrepreneur program in Africa).
During COVID-19, when the annual project migrated online, Anita’s dormant strengths – teaching and coaching – came to life. Being able to help some of Africa’s greatest entrepreneurs prepare to take on the world, by mentoring, guiding and providing communications support, has given Anita a whole new lease of life in her professional life, she tells us.
It also reinforced her passion for girls’ education and women’s leadership, as Anita strongly believes that women around the world have the ability to make astronomical contributions to economies around the world. Explaining this, she says, “My aspiration has always been to get this conversation to the grassroots. That’s why I started the ‘Women’s Elevation Fund’ because I truly believe that when girls are educated, they become empowered women.
How does she rise to the challenge of coping with a myriad of experiences? She replies: “Early in my life thanks to my amazing parents, I knew that the more I wanted in life, the more I had to work on my ability to adapt in various environments. Prayer, followed by mental preparation are my armor I balance everything that comes to me literally, on a daily basis Not two days ago in the Anita Erskine Media camp or in my life as Anita Erskine the host or the actress or the mother are the same.
“No one owes you an opportunity. Only you owe it to yourself to find your version of success without fear or excuse.
