World Environment Day began with the theme ‘One Earth’ to remind people of the roles and responsibilities they have for their planet.

Each year, this day is observed to recognize what nature has done for us, while remembering how pollution, environmental degradation and climate change are increasing due to our activities.

This day offers citizens the opportunity to stop, reflect and act responsibly to preserve and improve the environment.
