WRWWO observes World Environment Day 2021


World Environment Day was celebrated by the Western Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (WRWWO) via the digital platform, under the able leadership of WRWWO President Tanuja Kansal, known for her enthusiasm and love of nature. . Kansal, along with WRWWO executive members at headquarters and division presidents, have made a commitment to a greener future by resolving to plant trees which will in turn help restore ecosystems, which is the key to a greener future. theme of World Environment Day 2021.

According to Sumit Thakur, public relations director of Western Rly, speaking on the occasion, the Kansal said we must make every effort to protect Mother Earth, for our future generations. She pointed out that a little effort from each person will go a long way to show that we care about Mother Earth. She called on WRWWO members to commit to working together to save and protect planet Earth by keeping it clean and green. Members of the WRWWO executive committee at headquarters and division presidents of WR’s six divisions participated in this digital program.
